Mathematical Knowledge in Teaching was launched in the Faculty on Monday, and we now have a copy available to be borrowed from the Library. You can check it’s availability on the catalogue here.
The book was edited by the Tim Rowland and Kenneth Ruthven, and contains material from key authors across the world. The book examines the long term difficulty of inadequate content knowledge of teachers of mathematics and offers pedagogic and policy applications at a global level.
