New to the Library : ‘Finding Flow’ by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi

Finding Flow by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi is described as ‘part psychological study, part self-help book.’  Based on contemporary psychological studies and the author’s own research, and integrating these  findings with the wisdom of prophets, poets and philosophers from past centuries, the book explores what it is to live a full life. The author considers this to mean living ‘without waste of time and potential, and expressing one’s uniqueness, while participating intimately in the complexity of the cosmos.’ What better time than the summer vacation to discover how to live life in this way?
